Good food ! Great staff and BIG portions ! It's a family restaurant Walked in after a long day of shopping and it was the best ! I got the orange chicken and a friend a fried rice . I definitely come back again

I have enjoyed every dish I've tried here and they are very nice people, too. The beef yakisoba is a favorite and their chicken teriyaki is top notch!

This place is one of our favorite, locally owned teriyaki restaurants. My family regularly asks to visit. We have sampled almost everything on the menu, and the chicken teriyaki and beef kalbi bentos are our go-to meals. Today I tried the chicken yakisoba and was very, VERY happy with my meal! It was flavorful, tender, and beautifully presented.

This is a fantastic lunch spot. They offer a daily lunch special that comes with teriyaki chicken, rice, salad, California rolls, and gyoza for $14.99. You can sub fried rice for $3.50 too. They make a great fried rice that resembles a Chinese fried rice. If you dine in, you can eat free miso soup that is self serve and free hot tea. They are super fast if you order take out too. Lots of places to eat inside and the service is good.

Came back again after my initial review, and still hold the same opinions as before! Great hidden gem tucked away north of Seattle. Lovely staff, good quality food, clean interior with good vibes. No complaints!

This place is absolutely amazing. For starters the staff is so friendly. But the price tags for the amount of food is a true gem in Seattle. They load you up on delicious food! We actually got two different orders of teriyaki chicken and they were delicious and staaaacked with chicken and rice. We also got tempura veggies and they were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. We also got the noodles and those were so perfectly bouncy and chewy and well seasoned. Absolutely love this place :)

When in doubt or if you're having a bad day, you can't go wrong with a solid bento box. Especially in Seattle where the teriyaki is peak tier. Mama's Grill 'n Bento Teriyaki does not disappoint. My wife and I came here on a Friday night and we were a bit skeptical, since the restaurant was a ghost town. But we decided to give it a shot anyway. I ordered the chicken teriyaki combo and my wife ordered the chicken katsu bento. NOTE: There's teriyaki sauce placed at every table!! Don't forget to use it to lather your meats! So I was a bit meh with the teriyaki, as it was juicy but not saucy, and I noticed the bottle of teriyaki sauce literally at my last piece! What a shame - this would have been pretty solid with the sauce served with the dish. Everything else was pretty standard - good hefty portions at a reasonable price. My wife's katsu was crispy and overall also a pretty solid dish. So needless to say - this didn't blow me away. I wouldn't run here every night. But for a humble mom and pop shop, this was a really solid bento shop that easily satiated my craving. I have to come back to try the Kalbi one day! The free miso soup served in the restaurant was a nice bonus too!

JUICIEST & MOST FLAVORFUL KALBI SHORT RIBS AWARD! Mama's Grill n' Bento is a hidden gem if you're a fan of good teriyaki--I stopped by while running errands in the area and discovered this spot. It is a little hard to find at first because it's tucked in a small plaza but it's next to Domino's Pizza!! Inside there was free self-serve miso soup and condiments readily available on each table which was a plus. The salad was fresh and the serving size was generous! Inside was clean and well taken care of. I'll be back to try their specials written on the chalk board

Just found my new go-to teriyaki restaurant in the Seattle area!!! I ordered the Chicken Yakisoba for $13.99. Solid choice with a good ratio of noodles and vegetables. The owners were super nice and gave me a sample of their Galbi and homemade Crab Rangoons. I learned that they actually JUST opened a few days ago and it's easily one of my new favorites in the area :^) The Crab Rangoons were nice and crunchy and also came with their house made salad dressing and a sweet chili sauce. The Galbi definitely exceeded my expectations for a local teriyaki restaurant and was not too greasy! Highly recommend if you're craving some meat and looking for something casual, flavorful, and filling (the actual plate comes with more Galbi than the photo). The restaurant was noticeably clean and overall a comfortable and affordable dining experience for everyone. Great place to have a family dinner or order takeout from. If you're ever in the Shoreline or Edmonds area, this place is a must try!!!!!!!!!! SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES
